MetaLocator has always provided off-site backups via a 3rd party solution. We have updated that off-site solution to a more robust provider. As in the previous solution, all daily snapshots are stored on AWS S3 Storage. Those snapshots are also securely migrated to our offsite storage provider for 30 days. "Local" backups are migrated to AWS Glacier after 10 days. AWS Glacier purports a 99.999999999% durability or an archive. Combined with our offsite solution, we offer effectively 100% backup durability.

No action is required here. This feature is available to all customers regardless of account level.
