Yes you can easily add your MetaLocator interface of map, directory or spreadsheet to your MotoCMS website. MetaLocator integrates with nearly every type of website system. In this article, we show you how to install MetaLocator's code into a MotoCMS.com powered website.

The first step is to create a MetaLocator interface, which is covered in our Getting Started video.   This video shows all the steps necessary to configure the display which is termed in MetaLocator, an interface. Once you have created an interface, the final step in the process is to install that in your website page. The install is a single line of HTML within the page - there is no server installation for MetaLocator integration.

While the MotoCMS website creation tool itself may change over time as to how this might be accomplished, you will always simply be creating a page to contain the locator and using the MotoCMS HTML embed code functionality to contain the MetaLocator installation code - no programming knowledge is needed. Once in place, changes to your data or the look and feel of your interface are accomplished through your MetaLocator administration menus without the need to visit or adjust your MotoCMS site or page.

1) Using MotoCMS, create a page that will contain your locator.

2) Use the </> EMBED control to correctly contain the installation code (scroll down as it is near the end in the Widgets list). Here we’ve first created a ‘Container and a Row” to hold the MetaLocator code.

3) Copy the MetaLocator installation code then paste it into place. Note: this is code and not text – the EMBED Widget recognizes it as such.

4) Adjust the size of the section’s width and length to accommodate your MetaLocator display.

That is all that is required to integrate a MetaLocator Interface into MotoCMS or another web CMS platform.
