We have updated our GEO IP provider to a new, more accurate database. This upgrade benefits all MetaLocator users. The upgrade improves the accuracy and precision of IP Geolocation in MetaLocator. This is the process of translating user IP addresses to latitude and longitude. This impacts both users and analytics reporting. End users will see a more accurate location when using IP Geolocation and analytics reporting will reflect more complete and accurate data.

For example, the number of cities reported as Unknown will drop. This might cause other city statistics to rise, given the increase in accuracy.
