Location Follow-up

With Lead Status Reporting enabled, trigger automatic follow-up with your locations

When a lead is marked as Complete, an optional survey can be delivered to the location contact. The survey's recommended objective is to determine the total amount of revenue from the brand's products that are attributable to this lead.

To enable Location Follow-up,

  1. Set Request Location Follow-up to "Yes" under the Lead Generation Settings tab in the Interface Builder.

  2. Configure the Email Subject and Location Follow-up Email Template as needed. If the Location Follow-up Email Template setting is empty, click Templates and select from the available templates.

  3. Configure the Location Follow-up Form as described below.

The form can be configured under Leads > Location Follow-up Form.

The revenue values and other question responses collected in this form are stored with the lead record. This allows for aggregate reporting on confirmed revenue.

To configure the form, open your Interface and navigate to Leads > Location Follow-up Form.

To configure the form as shown in the example above, follow these steps.

  1. Add the Lead Outcome form title field

    1. Click Add Field, Special, then Text

    2. Drag the Text field to the Title container

    3. Click the new field to expand the field options.

    4. Update the Text to "Lead Outcome" and the Styles to h1.

  2. Add the custom text for "What was the lead outcome for Lead Name..."

    1. Click Add Field, Special, then Text

    2. Click the new field to expand the field options.

    3. Update the Text to:
      ​What was the outcome of the lead from {{name}} received on {{formatDate received}} at {{formatTime received}}

    4. Drag the Text field to the Body container

    5. Remove any Styles

  3. Add the Rating control

    1. Click Add Field, Custom, then Custom 1

    2. Drag the Custom 1 field to the bottom of the list of fields in the Body container.

    3. Click the new field to expand the field options.

    4. Change the Display Type to Rating Input

    5. Change the Label to "How satisfied were you with the process?" and mark the input as required.

  4. Add the Revenue label

    1. Click Add Field, Special, then Text

    2. Drag the new field to the end of the list of fields

    3. Click the new field to expand the field options.

    4. Update the Text to "How much revenue for Brand's products and services where delivered as part of this engagement?"

  5. Add the Revenue control

    1. Click Add Field, System Fields, then Revenue

    2. Drag the new field to the end of the list of fields

    3. Click the new field to expand the field options.

    4. Select "Show Currency List" if needed.

    5. Mark the input as required.

  6. Click Save in the upper right.
