This article discusses placing images in the Category Search as shown below:
To enable this feature:
Provide an image for each category by navigating to Data (or Locations) > Categories > (Category Name) and click the Category Options tab. Scroll down to find the Category Image setting. Upload an image that represents the category. In the screenshot above, we have uploaded images of Shirts that have a transparent background.
In the Interface Builder, click Search Form, expand Category and check the "Show Category Image" box.
Show Category Images also works with the various Category Display Type options as shown below:
