Lead Optimization describes a set of features available in MetaLocator Enterprise solutions that seek to maximize visibility into revenue, dealer responsiveness and customer satisfaction throughout the customer journey.

The graphic below provides a high-level overview of the optimization lifecycle. The process begins when a customer clicks a "Contact" button and generates a Lead Notification.

Basic Lead Capture Setup

The first and most essential step is to ensure you have a lead form created and a call-to-action configured, typically on the result card, where the customer journey will begin. Configuring the Lead Form can be done in the Interface Builder and is an essential first step.

Enable Lead Notifications

The next step toward full lead optimization is to enable Lead Acknowledgement. Ensure the Lead Notification Template as properly styled and configured using the latest templates as described in the article.

Configure Lead Status Reporting

Lead Status reporting ensures visibility into the Lead fulfillment process. The lead will move through various statuses progressing from "New" to "Complete".

Configure Location Follow-up Surveys

Location follow-up surveys are the questionnaires delivered to your locations, typically dealers, installers or service center locations. Location Surveys can be configured to ask any questions needed; however, we highly recommend including the Revenue field to ensure the reporting dashboard can report accordingly.

Configure Lead Follow-up Surveys

Lead follow-up surveys are the questionnaires delivered to your customers after the job is marked complete as reported by Lead Status Reporting. Follow-up Surveys are designed to capture customer satisfaction and mirror the form used to request a review for a location. Location contacts can be notified of a new review, and they can also be configured to allow location contacts to choose whether or not to "publish" the review. It is not a requirement to display star reviews publicly on the locator; however, if displayed, granting control over the publish status of the review can help minimize the impact of negative reviews.

Configure Results Ordering

Configure the sorting order of the locator with the newly obtained information regarding response time, rating and revenue. The rules vary from application to application, but MetaLocator highly recommends prioritizing those locations that provide the best customer experience. This essential step in the Lead Optimization lifecycle ensures that locations are rewarded in real time for providing a good customer experience and for sharing data throughout the process.

Summary

Properly configuring the full continuum of Lead Optimization tools ensures your organization has complete visibility into what happens after a customer engages with a location contact. Your Enterprise Services team contacts will guide you through every step of the process and ensure success.
